Does PrimeSyn Lab Inc. manufacture Analyte Specific Reagent (ASR) or cGMP quality oligo nucleotide?
PrimeSyn Lab Inc. is registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as a Medical Device Class 1 manufacturer for Analyte Specific Reagent (ASR) products, which includes custom nucleic acid sequences for: in vitro diagnostic manufacturers, clinical laboratories or organizations that use the reagent to make tests for purposes other than providing diagnostic information to patients and practitioners. Note: According to 21CFR809.30 (d), Class I ASRs must be labeled as: "Analyte Specific Reagent. Analytical and performance characteristics are not established."

PrimeSyn Lab's ASR products are manufactured under good manufacturing practices (cGMP) in compliance with FDA regulations 21CFR864.4020 and 21CFR820.

What length of sequences can PrimeSyn synthesize?
Currently, PrimeSyn can make up to 155 base pair DNA sequences. We try making longer than 155 base pairs if requested. As always, these synthesis are difficult and the success is highly dependent on the sequence.

What kind of purity can PrimeSyn Lab provide?
PrimeSyn Lab specializes in manufacturing of high purity oligonucleotides. The three levels of purity which we have are:

1. Desalted DNA
2. HPLC purification > 90%,
3. High purity > 95%.
4. Proprietary purification methodology > 98%.

How to order oligonucleotides?
There are many ways to order oligomer. You can download the PDF or Excel form and after entering the details, send it either via an email or fax us. Please note, these forms can be used for ordering or requesting quotes.

What kind of modifications does PrimeSyn Lab offer?
We can synthesize oligonucleotides using any commercially available amidite such as TAMRA, Cy3/Cy5, BHQ, Biotin, and other specialty dyes such as Texas-Red or Bodipy. In addition, we can also perform manual coupling to maximize yield with your in-house synthesized phosphoramidite. Remember, we are a custom DNA synthesis company. We will work with you to get you the result you desire.

What scale of synthesis does PrimeSyn Lab offer?
PrimeSyn Lab can synthesize from 40 nmole to 200 micromole synthesis.

My DNA orders contain too many “G” base. Will it work?
PSL uses its proprietary methodology in the synthesis and purification of poly G sequences. Therefore, you do not have to worry about the number of “G” bases in your sequence.

Do I need to specify about purification protocol?
PSL personnel possess over 15 years of expertise in the area of oligonucleotides synthesis. Let us know your need and we will do the rest. We can perform from desalting to double HPLC purification to get pristine oligonucleotides.

What is the concentration of my Oligomers?
PSL will provide a easy to understand certificate of analysis indicating all the details and the label would include Purchase Order Number, Date of Synthesis, Lot Number, Sequence, Concentration, and the number of OD. In addition we can also adjust the concentration which you may request with your order.

I like to order but my compound is confidential, what should I do?
Please download the CDA form review, suggest any changes and email it to use. Your compounds and chemistry will be kept confidential.

My assay is not working and I need help?
You can discuss your assay with us and we will do our best to make it work. We provide consultancy services too. In case of academic researcher, we can also explore the possibility of collaborative work. Academic researcher can directly email their questions to help@primesyn.com.

What is the shipping method?
PSL will ship the oligomers either on ice pack or dry ice overnight using FEDEX. PSL will ship either lyophilized or as requested.

What kind of documentation will I receive with my DNA?
PSL will provide any document which you may desire other than PSL proprietary and confidential information. Typical documentations include certificate of analysis, label on oligomer tube, HPLC, and mass spectral analysis profile.

Analytical Method Development:

I have a problem with my method and need help?
PSL will troubleshoot your analysis. We are fully equipped laboratory. We can also isolate your impurity peaks and can perform characterization employing mass spectral, and NMR.
